Job Description
Who We Are
An agency that wants to develop original, bold and provocative media ideas. Media ideas that aren’t media. Media that isn’t freaking boring. Brand ideas that people love.
Who You Are
You are a critical thinker with a passion for creativity. You are a restless spirit, curious, provocative, and with a compulsive need to solve problems and come up with new ideas.
In a parallel universe, a version of you is an artist, a rebel, a professional troublemaker.
What You’ll Do
As a Creative Strategist, you'll help create the connective tissue between brand ideas and media planning.
You’ll be designing the media playbook for how a brand should behave, where it should show up, how it should show up (and why!), and what messages it should share. And you’ll be teaming up with media planners to dream up unique, innovative ideas.
Your Tasks
Our Must-Haves
Our Diversity Commitment
We celebrate diversity in our employees and we’re committed to building a safe and inclusive workplace environment where we all can thrive. We’re proud to be an equal opportunity employer. We encourage future Madwellians from traditionally underrepresented and underserved communities to apply.
Job Description
About Noble People
We are a media agency. We advise some of the world’s biggest brands on how they should market themselves across all media channels and provide strategic, buying, reporting, and optimization services for them to achieve maximum growth. We set out to do it boldly, gathering intelligence to take risks that will lead to dramatic leaps forward for our clients. We are independently owned by the operating partners in the agency who take an active role in the work that gets delivered to clients and will work hand in hand with the head of culture to constantly reinforce the company’s intended values so that our intentions are alive in the true culture of Noble People. We’ve grown to over 100 employees, been well awarded by Adage, Cannes, AdWeek, and others, and have worked with clients including Nickelodeon, PayPal, Venmo, Whoop, Klarna, and many disruptive new economy businesses.
About the role of IT at Noble People
Long before we turned our living rooms into our offices, we turned to the cloud for data storage. By giving everyone laptops and eliminating desk phones, our people were never tied to their desk. We moved away from email before Slack was cool (or a client). While we’ve been ahead of the curve in some places we’ve taken measured approaches in other places. IT at Noble people for the last 10 years has been reactive, as we move into the next 10 years it must be proactive. Data security, device and network management, and partnering with our core services to build new products and services for the agency is where we are headed.
About THIS position
This is the first time we’re hiring a dedicated role for IT at the agency. Much of the immediate day-to-day is exactly what you’d expect - onboarding/offboarding, employee troubleshooting, network monitoring, conference room support. You’ll need to refresh and expand our policies and processes, get a handle on our physical environment and plan for cycling old tech out, and recommend and implement new software that makes it easier for everyone at the agency to do their jobs. Initially, you’ll work with an MSP, but which one can be based on your recommendation vs who we work with today. Over time and as we grow the agency and department, we expect to take all IT services internal and move away from all MSP support.
Reports to: Managing Director, Business Development (until we grow our IT function larger)
Essential Functions – These functions are the sole responsibility of the IT Manager (these are our intentions which may evolve as learn how to bring this role internal for the first time)
Running the now!
Planning for the future...
Opportunities for Growth
Noble People has grown aggressively since its founding, and we aspire to double and more in a short period of time. We’ve been scrappy in designing and maintaining our IT infrastructure with whatever time we could muster from people who know just enough to be dangerous. Our ambitions require us to evolve how we think about IT, data, and AV. We need someone who can be a department of one but work closely with agency leadership and partners to prioritize and execute an IT vision that will support our ambitious growth. The sky's the limit in what you can do, just don’t lose our client’s data.
